To help boost our members’ employability, we work closely with the UEA Law School and Careers Central to provide as many opportunities as possible for members pursuing legal and non-legal careers. These opportunities range from interview and application workshops to networking events involving individuals from all areas of the legal profession. This year, the UEA Law Society aims to provide one careers event a week.

Our Committee organise trips to the Inns of Court and law firms and run insightful events to help students decide which career path is right for them. An example of these events is our university dinners, where members can network with guests and gain careers advice. These opportunities are invaluable to students seeking a career at firms and the Bar alike.
