PRESIDENT'S WELCOME
Dear Members and Visitors,
Welcome to the UEA Law Society website. I am Hugo Lysakowski, and I am privileged to act as the President of the UEA Law Society for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Our society is dedicated to bridging the gap between academic study and the legal profession. We strive to provide our members with exceptional opportunities to enhance their skills, gain industry insights, and build crucial professional networks. Our mission is to create a dynamic environment where future legal professionals can thrive.
Throughout the year, we host seven annual competitions and a diverse range of career events. These initiatives are designed to expose our members to a broad spectrum of opportunities available during and after university, including emerging fields such as legal technology and innovation.
In addition to our academic and professional pursuits, we have curated an exciting social calendar. Highlights include two lively formal balls, an adventurous international trip, and a variety of events catering to all interests. Our goal is to build a vibrant community where like-minded individuals can connect, explore new opportunities, and enjoy themselves.
